What's so good about Tulsi Tea?

This is a new 'very old' kid on the block and has been getting a lot of publicity lately.
Tulsi is another name for the herb 'Holy Basil'. Holy basil is a herb that has been
around for thousands of years and is enjoyed in India, for example, for centuries.
To come to the point, here are the benefits of Tulsi Tea:

  • Stress relief - has a calming effect
  • Free radical protection - has antioxidants
  • Digestive system - has a balancing effect
  • Immune System support
  • Joint and general bone support
  • Normalizes cholesterol
  • Normalizes blood sugar
  • Promotes healthy metabolism
  • Healthy vision support

Amazing for one little herb, isn't it - no wonder it's called 'holy'!!

So how does this work? You can drink it as a simple cup of tea - now isn't that cool.
You just need to add another tea to your daily routine and you can get all the
wonderful benefits mentioned above.

But don't take my word for it - do your own research; try the tea for a month or so
and see if you get any benefits. There must be a reason that this herb is a main herb
in India's ayurveda health system. Many homes in India grow this plant so they can
enjoy it.

In today's world everyone experience undue stress and tulsi tea can help you cope
better with life and calm you down.

Another important factor is that tulsi is a powerful source of antioxidants. We are
constantly being 'attacked' by harmful byproducts (just think of the chemicals and
antibiotics in our daily food and the synthetic sugars in many drinks). These can
damage our body by invading our cells and tissues. With tulsi, these antioxidants
can help you:

  • Slow down aging
  • Help your immune system
  • Protect your heart
  • Boost your immune system
  • Aid your memory

So, now the question becomes - where can I get it? Well the internet is a great
place to do research. Also a visit to your local health store can give you information
and hopefully  the product. Make sure you read the ingredient list and don't forget
that organic is best.

Here's to you and your cup of tulsi tea!
